Trinny Vintage Kilim Hand Woven Rug
Truly unique - an absolute stunner of a vintage find. Trinny has been hand woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are known for their rich culture, strong sense of identity, and unparalleled skill in rug making. You can certainly sense all of those traits in this very refined, one of a kind rug, especially as the striking aqua colour is so unusual for a vintage piece. The versatile and resiliant Trinny is light weight and tightly woven with no pile - this is due to the tribes nomadic lifestyle and needing textiles to not only be practical and aesthetically beautiful, but also portable! The weavers creativity is expressed through the intricate medallions and vibrant colours.
Quality that lasts - and a positive impact on the environment. Our vintage rugs are a great addition to any room, a timeless classic that never ages and works beautifully in every setting. What’s more, they’re the sustainable choice. They are an exquisite alternative to mass-produced rugs, bringing their history and story with them.
Investing in a vintage rug ensures these beautiful and meaningful products stay in circulation. Woven by hand on a loom, these flat weave rugs are hard-wearing and easy to clean. When looked after, they’ll last you a lifetime.
